Naruto: Might Guy and Rock Lee

Might Guy is the leader of Team Guy who dedicates most of his time to only one of his students, Rock Lee. Because of this, Lee has modeled himself in his master’s image, matching his green jumpsuit and haircut. Lee also adopted many of his mannerisms, including his “My Rules” philosophy.

First introduced in episode 8 with the arrival of the Eva Unit 02, Soryu Asuka Langley is shown maintaining a high synchronization ratio and exceptional skills as an Eva pilot. With the battle against the Angel Gaghiel, Asuka proved to be very aggressive and confident in battle. However, when she was first defeated in the fight against Zeruel, Asuka’s self-confidence begins to dwindle, affecting her effectiveness as a pilot.

Kipi makes such a cute Asuka that I had to feature her again. But I’m not sure if this breaks any of blogger’s rules in blogging, so please let me know otherwise so I can delete this just in case!

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children: Tifa Lockhart 08

Tifa Lockhart has made several appearances in other media, including her own novella “Smile: Case of Tifa”. The story is set in her point of view, telling the events between the end of Final Fantasy VII and Advent Children. In the short novel, she creates a new 7th Heaven bar and attempts to hold onto the concept of a normal family with herself and Cloud Strife as he begins isolating himself from others.

Bleach: Yamamoto-Genryuusai Shigekuni

The captain of the 1st Division and the Leader of Gotei 13, Yamamoto believes that laws must be upheld for the benefit of the community and despises anyone who breaks them. He founded the Gotei 13 approximately 1000 years before the Bleach storyline began, where he personally instructed Kyoraku Shunsui and Ukitake Jushiro as if they were his own sons. He claims that no Soul Reaper stronger than himself had been born in one thousand years.

I can’t believe my eyes. That really is the Commander-in-Chief. I hope someone recognizes this photo so I can credit the cosplayer properly! Thanks to Kyle for sending this in!

Ouran High School Host Club: Hitachiin Hikaru and Hitachiin Kaoru 02

When Hikaru and Kaoru were young, they had a maid who took care of them that they were fond of. One night, they found her stealing from their mansion and offered her a deal: If she could guess which of them was Hikaru, then they would give her the combination to the safe. She took the number from them anyway and told them that she could not tell them apart, but perhaps one day, they would be able to meet someone who could.

This photo was taken in Singapore’s Cosfest X.1, and they are real twins! Adorable twins cosplaying the “little devil” types! And I still can’t tell which is which. Thanks again to Yukino for sending this in!

Another incredible cosplay from Ilonka! Would you believe me if I told you this photo was not edited on Photoshop? Ilonka wrote in her email that this cosplay took 3 months to make (using natural materials) and 4 hours of makeup. This photo was taken in Puerto Rico by JB Art Photography at the EL Yunque National Rainforest.

And here to celebrate my centennial lack of otaku knowledge, we have Japanese cosplayer Akasan and her cosplay photo from Winter Comiket 2010!

Apparently, a lot of people are debating whether Akasan is cute or scary! I don’t think she’s scary at all, but her photos do look heavily photoshoped? I’m not sure though because I’m not really an expert in the field!

Clannad: Ibuki Fuko 02

After they learned about Fuko’s accident and her unknown existence as an ikiryo or astral projection, Furukawa Nagisa and Okazaki Tomoya decided to assist Fuko to accomplish her dreams: to carve 700 starfishes to be distributed in the school as a form of invitation to her sister, Kouko’s wedding. However, just when they thought everything was going well, Fuko started to disappear from everyone’s hearts because the real Fuko had stopped breathing in the hospital. Tomoya then asked Komura Toshio to organize the wedding ceremony on the 18th of May. The wedding turned out to be a success and everyone who received a starfish came to the ceremony.

Cute Fuko cosplayer! It’s been a long time since I’ve last seen Clannad. I don’t think I was even able to finish watching the second season! Guess I should start watching again. Thanks to again to Hannah for sending this in!

L suspected earlier in the investigation that Yagami Light was Kira, but he could not obtain any concrete evidence. In several situations throughout the series, Light seems to be proven innocent by the circumstances, but L remained skeptical. If Light turned out to be Kira, then the case would have been solved, and L had trouble letting this simple and complete solution go. Moreover, he found Light to be “too perfect” and that his age and intelligence match his exact concept of what Kira would be like.

Well, I for one, was not too happy with how the series turned out and ended. But I have to admit, the story was brilliant overall. Thanks again to Garcia for sending this in!

In the beginning of Kuroshitsuji II, Sebastian entered the Trancy Manor disguised as a wanderer needing shelter from the storm. However, when he criticized Claude Faustus for leaving a drop of sauce on the side of his dinner plate, he blew his cover, alerting Claude that he is Sebastian Michaelis. This resulted in a battle between the two demons when Sebastian took the “New Moon Drop” tea box from Alois Trancy.

After defeating an invading Gunmen, Kamina left Giha Village with Simon and Yoko Littner in the cockpit of a tiny, but powerful Gunmen Simon unearthed which Kamina named “Lagann”. Kamina is very passionate about his goals, expressing his wished through energetic speeches. He is extremely impulsive and believes he can do anything he feels like.

By building up chakra in her fists and releasing it on contact, Sakura can reduce most obstacles with ease.
