Clannad: Ibuki Fuko 02

After they learned about Fuko’s accident and her unknown existence as an ikiryo or astral projection, Furukawa Nagisa and Okazaki Tomoya decided to assist Fuko to accomplish her dreams: to carve 700 starfishes to be distributed in the school as a form of invitation to her sister, Kouko’s wedding. However, just when they thought everything was going well, Fuko started to disappear from everyone’s hearts because the real Fuko had stopped breathing in the hospital. Tomoya then asked Komura Toshio to organize the wedding ceremony on the 18th of May. The wedding turned out to be a success and everyone who received a starfish came to the ceremony.

Cute Fuko cosplayer! It’s been a long time since I’ve last seen Clannad. I don’t think I was even able to finish watching the second season! Guess I should start watching again. Thanks to again to Hannah for sending this in!

Nerdism Moment: CL'ANNAD

Nerdism Moment~!!!!!

Meaning I feel like talking about anime, games or something..

not always accepted by the "normal" world.

Ahem. Sooooo

I've been watching this anime called Clannad on Netflix.

Unforunately it is dubbed not subbed but I deal

because I am too lazy to always try and get comfortable

watching it on my laptop. I like the sofa OKAY?!?!

I also don't like moving my laptop from the desk

because he is comfortable on his desk

and when I move him I have to

unplug ALLLLLL his USB connections

and then he freaks out and loses internet

connection.

I don't know. He wasn't originally mine so I'm not sure

why he works this way. Must be a power setting =__=

Anyway~!!!!!!!

So I've been watching this anime and it's actually pretty interesting.

Doesn't seem like a "typical anime". It has its moments

but for the most part there's a pretty good story line and the characters

are fun to get to know. It really revolves around this guy who kind of has

nothin really goin' for him at home and his past is a bit hazy but instead

of being some bully at school he actually starts to try and make friends

with some random girls at the school. The thing is, the girls are a bit weird..

Only like two of them appear to have a normal life. The others he ends up kind of helping

with whatever problem they're having at school or with the past... There's like one who is

actually the spirit of a girl who's in a coma, then there's this chick who everyone thinks is like

a robot because of her stregnth and she likes to walk around in a bear suit. Then there's Negisa who seems very weird but ends up being a very sweet girl and joins Tomoya with trying

to get the drama club going. Well, the drama thing starts to get Tomoya (the guy sorry XD) to get more involved in their lives and they become friends.....and like I DONT KNOW. I suck at explaining things because there's all these details in between....bleh. It's interesting though.

I've been told to keep watching it because it gets better. I'm on episode 14 right now. The first story arch is only 24 eps, then there's the "After story" which is 24 eps too.

I don't know..it's weird and it has some fantasy in it, like the story of the girl and the robot in this whole other world going on... (like the photo).

There's not a lot of action in it...except when Tomoyo (the tough girl) beats the crap out of people. Kyou is also a hostile girl...she's hillarious though. XD. Then there's another girl who

is a dang genius but her social skills are hoorrrrible..so they try helping her.

Yeah. I pretty much failed trying to explain this. I suppose I will leave you with the ending song..

There also isn't much romance in this. Not yet anyway. It's mostly about friendship, strong bonds between people, fantasy..some suspense and maybe a little drama, but not much.

Meh. I like it. :]

Oh and I finished this other one called "Chance Pop Session". It's about friendship, sisterhood and music. It was actually cute and short (13 eps)

(Usually you'd see little dangos but it's Pika in this one! XD)

Clannad: Fujibayashi Kyou 02

Kyou is the class representative and older twin of Ryou. The sisters have a mutual crush over one boy, Okazaki Tomoya, but because Kyou is older, she felt the need to let her younger sister try to win Tomoya’s feelings first. It wasn’t until Sunohara Youhei, Tomoya’s best friend, finds out that she decides to settle things out with Tomoya under Youhei’s advice.

Cute cosplay! I especially like that she has Kyou’s little pet boar “Button” with her. Nice work!

Clannad: Fujibayashi Kyou

Aggressive, violent, and a good cook, Fujibayashi Kyou is the older twin of Ryou and a good friend of Okazaki Tomoya. She owns a scoter and has a little baby boar named "Button".

In the beginning, she supports her sister's romantic feelings towards Tomoya, repressing her own feelings in the process. When a rumor spread about Tomoya being a two-timer between her and Ryou, she distances herself from them to ease the tension.

Who Tomoya really chooses in the end is up for debate.

This is Saya, the cosplayer behind Gintama's Yagyu Kyubei and Sound Horizon's Violette. Quite an impressive cosplayer, isn't she? Thanks to ~MPzero~ for the beautiful photography!

Clannad: Ibuki Fuko

A first year student with a cheerful, yet somewhat careless attitude, Ibuki Fuko wanted to carve 700 wooden starfishes for her sister's wedding. Her idea is that, if she were to give the starfishes to the students where Kouko, her sister once taught, they would surely attend her wedding and in turn make the wedding an incredible success.

Unfortunately, even though Fuko was attending the same school where Kouko taught, she had retired 3 years ago and the students no longer know her. Still, Fuko perseveres, not minding if her hands were cut up from carving so much, because she wanted her sister to be happy.

If I tell you any more, it would spoil the story, so I'll leave it at that for now. She's such a cute Fuko, don't you think? ^^

Clannad: Sakagami Tomoyo

Rumored to have a violent record in the past, Sakagami Tomoyo is unbelievably strong and has a reputation of never being defeated in a fight.

After she transfers to a new school, however, she decides to run for student council in order to save the Sakura Trees from being torn down due to some construction for developing the area. This goal also has something to do with her younger brother, Takafumi, but I won’t go through that in detail; otherwise, it’d spoil the story for everyone.

She makes a really cute Tomoyo! It’s funny how one anime can have so many different endings… I actually prefer her ending than Furukawa Nagisa’s. Nice cosplay!
