Although very little is revealed about Haruhi’s childhood, she mentioned a revelatory incident when she attended a baseball game with her family. While she regarded her life as special as a child, the sheer number of people in the stadium brings her to the realization that they fit into the normal, everyday occurrences and habits of Japanese citizens and humans in general.
