VIDEO GAMES: New Skins For Robin In Batman: Arkham City Unveiled!

Hit the jump to check out alternate Tim Drake/Robin outfits in Rocksteady's upcoming video game sequel Batman: Arkham City!

Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security home for all of Gotham City's thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.

In Batman: Arkham City, you will be able to play with Tim Drake's Robin in challenge maps with these different costumes: Red Robin, Hooded Robin, and Robin from Batman: The Animated Series



And just a reminder of the suits we will see for Batman himself.

The official Batman: Arkham City website was recently updated with details on retailer specific pre-order bonuses. It appears GameStop has the best hook-up at the moment, offering 'Joker's Carnival Challenge Map' in exchange for your down payment. The only other bonus noted at this time is Best Buy's nondescript 'combo pack.'



We contacted WBIE for details this morning, but have yet to receive any specifics. As always, we'll update when we learn more.

Warner Bros. and Rocksteady are finally far enough along in development on Batman: Arkham City to start showing it off, and earlier today, we got our first look at the game in action. The demonstration we saw lasted about 25 minutes, and showed Batman saving a captive Catwoman from Two-Face, tossing Harley Quinn aside like a doll, riding around on a helicopter, and escaping from an exploding watchtower by crashing through a window. It was kind of awesome, and showed just how different of an experience this new game will provide compared to Batman: Arkham Asylum.


We learned a lot of new things during the demo, which we will now share with you, the hungry Batman-themed videogame consumer.

More Batman: Arkham City Screenshots: "Batman: Arkham City. Just saying the name brings the feeling of excitement. The game isn't due until this Fall but we can hardly contain our eagerness for any bit of new information. Just yesterday, Sara discussed the announced lack of a multiplayer mode in the game. To make sure those saddened by that news still have something to look forward to, Rocksteady has delivered more new screenshots of the game. Who doesn't want new screenshots?

You can't have a Batman game without Joker. Well...you could but is that something you'd really want. What makes him even deadlier is the fact that his health seems to have taken a dip. If he starts to feel that he doesn't have anything to lose, all of Gotham City better watch out. This isn't the only new shot we get. Check out the others.
