ALL-STAR SUPERMAN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: One-On-One With James Denton: "The road from Wisteria Lane to Metropolis isn’t an easy one, the journey proving more arduous than James Denton had expected when he began it.
“Part of being an actor is you don’t have a lot of stage fright,” Denton, who plays Mike Delfino on Desperate Housewives and voices the Man of Steel in the animated feature All-Star Superman, explains. “You don’t deal with a lot of nerves. If you do, I think you’ll sort of struggle. I’m a theater guy, so that’s sort of what drew me to it. I was able to do it without the flop sweats –I was never scared of being in front of people. But this, All-Star Superman, terrified me. And it still does.”
He admits that he’s not sure he can actually read the reviews, and was even filled with trepidation doing this interview. “I know it sounds crazy,” he says, dead serious, “but even for"

Jon Hamm 'Aged Out' of Superman Role!: "Chatting recently with MTV at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards, Mad Men actor Jon Hamm, who've been longly treasured for the lead role in Warner Bros. Zack Snyder-directed Superman, The Man of Steel, now basically rules himself out as a candidate; essentially due to his age.
'I talked to Zack [Snyder] quite a bit,' Hamm told MTV News about his 'Sucker Punch' director. 'We had some looping and some reshoots and stuff to do on 'Sucker Punch.' But no, I think that's a young man's game now. I think I've been aged out of that one by now, but that's fine with me. There are plenty of other people available to put on tights.'
Commencing production in August, expected to last a full year, Superman, The Man Of Steel will reportedly be released in Mid-December 2012 (14th – 21st)."

MTV have an exclusive first look at the trailer for DC's animated adaptation of Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely's excellent 12-issue run..
James Denton(Desperate Housewives) will voice Supes, Christina Hendricks(Mad Men) Lois Lane, Anthony LaPaglia(Without A Trace, countless movies) will provide the voice for Lex Luthor.
"All-Star" is the 10th DC Comics story line to be turned into an original PG-13 movie by Warner Premiere, DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Home Video. The comic mini-series has won three Eisner Awards, two Harvey Awards and three Eagle Awards. Written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Frank Quitely, the story begins with the Man of Steel (Denton) oversaturated by radiation during a rescue mission near the sun, accelerating the degeneration of his cells. Knowing that he has a limited time before he dies, Superman sets out on a journey that sees him revealing his secret to Lois Lane (Hendricks), giving Lex Luthor (LaPaglia) an epiphany on humanity and ensuring the safety of Earth for when he is gone. . . .
Bruce Timm is exec producing, and Sam Liu, who helmed the DC animated film "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths," is directing. Dwayne McDuffie, a comics scribe who also penned "Crisis on Two Earths," wrote the script.
The film is due to be released in the spring.
