There's a reasonable chance you might have been worried when June came and went with no sign of Wesley Snipes' iOS action title, Julius Styles: The International. The title may have missed its planned release date, but developer Lapland Studios has laid our cancellation fears to rest. The company has announced that the game will now launch this August. The press release refers to it as 'the first episode' of the game, so presumably we'll be hearing more from Mr. Styles in the future.
Lapland has also offered some new details about the title. Julius Styles: The International will be a 3D isometric action title in which 'Julius gathers information, collects and combines items to create weapons and tools, and solves intricate puzzles.' Julius himself -- voiced by Snipes -- is a 'Facilitator,' which is described as an 'economic hitman - an expert in persuasion, blackmail, and assassination,' working in the world of 'economic espionage.' We can only hope his targets aren't IRS agents.
Julius Styles: The International will be available on iPhone and iPad on August 11.
