Ross Katz has quite a nice little resume of films he's produced, such as: In the Bedroom, Lost In Translation, and Marie Antoinette. He jumped into the director's chair back in 2009 with the HBO film Taking Chance.
Katz has now lined up his next directing gig, a film adaptation of David Morrell's novel The Brotherhood of The Rose. You should be excited because the source material is by the same author of First Blood which as we all know, spawned John J. Rambo!
The Brotherhood of The Rose follows two orphans who were raised and trained by the CIA to become deadly assassins and then they find out they are being hunted by the father figure that trained them.
NBC made a mini-series out of The Brotherhood of The Rose back in 1989, which starred Robert Mitchum and David Morse... an update to this material is highly anticipated. Check out the trailer below:
