Bleeding Cool has our second look at Karl Urban (STAR TREK, RED) as Judge Dredd.

The update, titled simply DREDD, tells the tale of the judges who patrol the streets of Mega City One. Judges like Dredd have full authority to execute lawbreakers as crime and terror dominate this futuristic world.

DREDD focuses on well... Dredd and new recruit Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) getting caught in a particularly bad section of the city during a siege.

I have a friend who previously worked at one of the companies developing DREDD who compared the script's nearly non-stop action pace to QUANTUM OF SOLACE. Between that and Karl Urban, who was excellent as Bones in STAR TREK, I'm fairly excited for this one.
