The marketing -- or lackthereof -- for Contagion is almost as mysterious as its plot. For a film boasting an all-star cast, several of whom are Oscar winners, and directed by Steven Soderbergh, mainstream moviegoers know nothing of the existence of this must-see picture. It was because of that lack of information, whether it be through teasers or stills, that we simply couldn’t list it among Screen Rant’s most anticipated 2011 movies.
Perhaps Warner Bros. was waiting for the right moment to unveil their sci-fi thriller, to not get lost in the busy summer movie season shuffle. The wait is over and the first Contagion trailer is finally out.
Normally when a cool, interesting or exciting trailer comes along, we’d say it’s a must watch and that the film is something you need to keep on your radar. ...
