There is a tendency for the strong to get stronger and that’s what the social networking giant Facebook just did after it integrated the vastly-popular services of Skype into its offerings.
The week before this new technological tag team was released for everyone to know, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg teased all FB users with an “awesome” announcement. And Zuckeberg did not disappoint. Skype has been one of the breakthrough technologies of the last couple of years because it allows communication to be accessible to anyone, even if the distances that divide two people are thousands of miles. Take note, these are no ordinary calls — Skype offers video calls.
Many technological experts see the Facebook-Skype marriage as a counter punch to Google’s new social network… Google+. When there is an intense rivalry between two services, it is the consumers who benefit.
