Rockstar is finally talking about its plans for L.A. Noire DLC. Team Bondi had previously hinted at DLC, and a voucher for a downloadable case was given out to a limited number of customers at Best Buy. Besides the Nicholson Electroplating Arson case coming on June 21, a Vice case, Reefer Madness, is coming on July 12. Both can be pre-ordered now at a discount as part of a package that also provides access to all of the currently-available DLC.
The L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass, as it's called, costs $10 (800 Microsoft Points) for a limited time and offers up a 50% discount on the regular price of its seven DLC packs. Four of those are new cases, each of which would normally cost $3.99 (320 points) a piece. Two of the cases previously available as pre-order bonuses are now available for download along with some other content. All of that is included with the pass, so it's not as if purchasing the pass gets you nothing until the new cases arrive. Should you be interested, you'll want to buy the pass now as it will be jumping up in price to $12 (960 points) on June 14.
Unfortunately, the PlayStation Store is still unavailable, so you won't be able to check out this content today if you're a PS3 owner. Sony has announced it expects the Store to be back by the end of the week.
