From now till the end of June, I'll be slowly working my way through modifying the pinkest dress ever (as seen earlier).
I'd like to at least shorten the sleeves and remove the bows on the shoulders (which won't be too much work, I hope).
I'm also thinking of adding some extra stuff, but I'm not sure yet.
Ideas I have (but am not sure about):
Of course, this particular Sleeping beauty is Disney's. |
- adding a baby pink trim (lace or ruffles or something) to the neckline and the edges of the (shorter) sleeves
- maybe adding a baby pink (sheer) fabric to the skirt, similar to the one in the picture.
And I'd love to do all these modifications, but
- I'm afraid I'll mess it up (though that risk would be minimalised by paying lots and lots of attention)
- What if Marie-Elise (the lady I got the dress from) doesn't like me cutting into her stuff?
Dillemmas, dillemmas...
