Aaron Eckhart Confirms No Two-Face in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’: "

As The Dark Knight Rises finally begins to take shape, fans are biting at the bit for some idea of what to expect from Chris Nolan’s final Batman movie. While many mysteries remain regarding which characters might be in the film, we can now definitively report on one that won’t be making an appearance.

Despite Nolan’s insistence that Harvey Dent/Two-Face died at the end of The Dark Knight, many felt that final shot of his motionless body was just a little too ambiguous. Hop on any forum and you’ll find someone who swears Dent was still breathing or that Nolan is purposely misleading us.
