The Dark Knight Rises Movie Set Reveal — 2 Batman Tumblers: "
Casual observer subaruwrxfan got video clips of the ongoing movie shoot of The Dark Knight Rises in Pittsburgh just this August. This is what he found — 2 Batmobiles (which is more accurately called Tubmlers). The MediaFreaks 3D Animation Blog gives you a preview of the action by the stairs in this video below:



This movie take is supposedly part of a fight scene between Batman and Bane. We can only imagine why there was a need for two Tumblers. It has been reported that Bane will possibly break loose Arkham Asylum in the film and release the notorious criminals of Gotham City — thereby giving Batman (Christian Bale) a hard time.

An interesting follow-up thought is if Bane will really break Batman’s back in the movie. Hmm?

Back to the Tumbler, let’s compare it with the old Batmobile. What are your thoughts? Here is the Batmobile used in the TV series:

- Enabled with front-firing machine guns

- Built-in safety link for petrol control

- Built-in fire extinguisher system

- Front wheels on bolted arms for an axel-less front end

- Conventional single axel rear end
